Location: Throughout Saskatchewan
Building Size: 100’ x 144’
Application: Cold storage warehousing and pre-fabrication
Scope of the Project
A major oil and gas company came to GNB in need of a 100’ x 144’ cold storage and pre-fabrication facility at their Rush Lake SAGD plant in Saskatchewan. The structure had to be able to maintain its integrity, withstand the extreme heat and cold of prairie weather, and suit the company’s abilities and visions for the site.
GNB collaborated with this major oil and gas company to design and engineer the structure, and soon the construction phase was underway. Seeing that we understood their needs, and trusting that we would stand behind our work and deliver on our promises, the oil and gas company was impressed at our reliability, determination, and ultimate quality. From daily reports and morning meetings to unquestionable safety standards and service, GNB’s investment into the project’s success convinced the oil and gas company that they could further benefit from our abilities.
Following the first project for this oil and gas company, we signed a two-year MSA that covered upcoming SAGD plants in Northeastern Saskatchewan. Since then, we have installed an additional four similar structures, and the MSA has been extended until December 2022.
